Our Story

The San Antonio Ballet School was founded in 2016 by Danielle Campbell Steans on the belief that studying dance in a professional and nurturing environment inspires self-discipline and enhances the student’s innate artistic and creative talents.

Our school follows the official American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum, combining scientific principles with elements from the classic French, Italian, and Russian schools of training. Our comprehensive step-by-step instruction promotes proper technique, while rigorous in-studio practice translates into meticulous execution consistent with the individual’s age, ability, and interest. In addition to ballet, we offer alternative forms of dance to further develop a well-rounded perspective of artistic and physical expression.
