We are a 501(c)3 pre-professional program who’s mission is to cultivate the art of dance among future generations. SAYB provides young dancers unique opportunities to train and perform in a professional environment and to represent San Antonio at event and competitions through Texas and beyond.
Performance experience is a critical component to a student’s artistic and technical development.
This program will provide students with the environment to pursue a career in dance, working towards obtaining a college scholarship, or just fulfilling a passion for dance.
SAYB welcomes and encourages parent volunteers through our Parent Network. The Parent Network acts as a liaison between SAYB faculty and families. Our goal is to encourage effective parent involvement and to complement, support, and improve the training experience of all our students.
Sayb gladly accepts assistance from undergraduate and graduate students interested in arts administration and non-profit organizations. Volunteer and paid positions are available year round. Possible area of opportunities include Costume Shop, Development, Community Outreach, Social Media, Marketing & Communication, and Grant Writing. Applicants should submit a resume and cover letter indicating the area of interest and the dates and hours per week you will be available.
